Dental clinic hours adjusted Oct. 13 for WVU football game

WVU Dental clinics (WVU School of Dentistry) located on the Health Sciences Center campus behind Ruby Memorial Hospital will make operations adjustments Oct. 13, 2022.

The Thursday night football game at Milan Puskar Stadium will impact WVU Dental clinic hours, patient parking and travel time.

Student Provider Clinic

-Patients who have afternoon appointments in the student provider clinic Oct. 13 will be seen from
1 p.m. to 4 p.m. instead of regular Thursday hours of 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
-Patients must be dismissed by 4 p.m.
-Treatments requiring more than three hours should not be scheduled Oct. 13.
-Student provider clinic patients should expect traffic in and around Morgantown to be heavier than usual which could impact arrival to and departure from our clinics.

Urgent Care Clinic

-Beginning at 1 p.m. on Oct. 13, our Urgent Care Clinic will accept a limited number of patients.
-Patients who may need referred from our Urgent Care Clinic to a specialist must arrive at the oral surgery, restorative or endodontics clinics by 2 p.m.
-Urgent Care clinic patients should expect traffic in and around Morgantown to be heavier than usual and it could impact their arrival to and departure from our clinics.

Dental Clinic Parking 

The parking lots adjacent to the HSC dental clinics must be cleared by 5 p.m. Towing will begin promptly at 5 p.m.

Our clinics located in Suncrest Towne Centre will operate as normal.
