Facilities and Technology

At the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, students work in a simulation lab with stations for each dental school student. Our Department of Dental Hygiene has its own dedicated lab space for instruction as well.

Class schedules often include instruction in one of our lecture rooms and is followed by work in a lab.

Aside from the simulation and dental hygiene labs, our dental school has a unique Center for Dental Innovation where all of our students have an opportunity to use a variety of brands of products and instrumentation.

Students in their final two years of school typically spend most of their time in the large student clinic treating patients.
