Locker Project
In October 2019, the School of Dentistry completed a renovation of the area known as the dental student hallway, including new flooring, ceiling and lighting improvements, a mural highlighting the mission of the school and new student lockers. The lockers had remained unchanged in 1957.
The project that began as a structural improvement became a place for a sentimental walk down memory lane. School of Dentistry donors have adopted new lockers to leave messages for current students, memorialize a classmate and mark class memories.
Sponsor a Locker
Although the lockers are in place, there is still an opportunity to sponsor a locker. By investing $1,000, you can place your name, acknowledge your graduating class or leave an inspirational message. The message can include three lines of text with a maximum of 25 characters per line. The School of Dentistry retains all rights of censorship. View examples in the online gallery.
If not already purchased, donors can select the locker of their choice. If a group or class is donating collectively, the sponsorship must be received in full before the locker will be named.
