Dr. Matthew Mathias School of Dentistry Scholarship

Qualifications

This endowment shall provide scholarships for students enrolled at West Virginia University in the School of Dentistry. Recipients must be full-time students entering their fourth year of the Doctorate of Dental Surgery program. Student recipients must display extraordinary care for patients and demonstrate a strong service orientation in the field of dentistry. They shall also demonstrate financial need and good academic standing by maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0. Recipients shall be determined by the appropriate officials in the School of Dentistry in consultation with the WVU Office of Student financial Aid and Scholarships. Funds shall be awarded in memory of Dr. Matthew Mathias.
