Kanawha Valley Dental Society Dentistry Scholarship

Qualifications

This endowment shall provide scholarships for students enrolled at West Virginia University in the School of Dentistry. Recipients must be full-time students entering the fourth year of the Doctorate of Dental Surgery program. First preference shall be given to residents of Kanawha County, WV. Second preference shall be given to students who plan to reside and practice dentistry in Kanawha County. Recipients shall be in good academic standing as defined by WVU. The student recipients will be invited to and encouraged to attend a Kanawha Valley Dental Society meeting where they will be recognized for their scholarship. Recipients shall be determined by the appropriate officials in the School of Dentistry in consultation with the WVU Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. Funds shall be awarded in the name of the Kanawha Valley Dental Society Dentistry Scholarship.
