Linda S. Edwards, RDH, BS, MA, Dental Hygiene Scholarship
Qualifications
This Endowment shall provide scholarships for an undergraduate dental hygiene student who will be entering the fourth year, is a West Virginia resident intending to practice in West Virginia. Students will demonstrate strong clinical skills and hold high ethical and moral standards. First preference shall be for residents of Brooke County. Recipients shall be making satisfactory academic progress as defined by the WVU Office of Financial Aid. Note - Student must maintain a 3.0 minimum GPA and pass credits necessary to graduate on time with a maximum of 150% of the student's degree objective for a period of up to four years. It is the Donor's intent that the spend/cash from this Endowment be used in its entirety annually, not to exceed $1,000. Additional spend/cash shall remain in the fund in order to grow to provide an additional $1,000 scholarship(s). Recipients shall demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA and/or the WVU Office of Financial Aid. Qualified candidates shall be recommended by the appropriate officials in the College/School of Dentistry and approved by the WVU Office of Financial Aid. Funds shall be awarded in the name of the Linda S. Edwards, RDH, BS, MA, Dental Hygiene Scholarship.
