Course Enrollment

To be eligible to enroll in the online, self-paced course, participants must have a minimum of an associate degree and complete the three-step process outlined below.

Step One: Create a WVU Micro-credential account through the WVU Genius Portal.

• The WVU Genius Portal will require you to create an account on the system before you can register for a course.
• Submitting the account creation form will send you an email containing a temporary password; retrieve this temporary password from your email.

Step Two: After you have set up your account and changed your password to one you will remember, go to the Course Catalog and select: 2025 WVU School of Dentistry’s Certified Tobacco Treatment Training Program (for healthcare professionals).

Step Three: When the course card opens, select Enroll at the bottom right. Close out the course card and select the Cart in the upper left-hand corner.

• Scroll down and select desired Payment Method and follow instructions to pay for the course.
• Once you’ve paid the $750 registration fee and are enrolled, you will be redirected to your Dashboard.
• To access your WVU Genius Portal account and courses after you have registered, return to the Genius portal and sign in (save as a bookmark).
