Dear Fellow Alumni and Esteemed Students, 

As I sit down to write this message, I find myself flooded with memories of my time at WVU and our esteemed dental school. It feels like just yesterday that I walked the hallowed halls of our alma mater, eager to embark on a journey that would shape my career and life in ways I could never have imagined. 

It's hard to believe that it's been over three decades since I graduated from dental school in 1991. The years have flown by, filled with countless patients, procedures and moments of triumph and challenge. Yet, through it all, the lessons I learned during my time at WVU have remained a guiding light, illuminating my path and shaping my practice. 

As alumni, we are bound together by more than just shared experiences and memories. We are part of a legacy - a legacy of excellence, integrity, and commitment to serving our communities. Each day, as we step into our clinics and offices, we can carry the WVU spirit with us, embodying the values instilled in us during our time on campus. 

To the students who are currently walking the same halls we once did, I offer my heartfelt congratulations and encouragement. You are embarking on a journey that will undoubtedly have its ups and downs, but remember, you are never alone. Lean on your peers, your professors, your alumni association and the vast network of alumni who are cheering you on from afar. And never forget the privilege and responsibility that comes with being a part of this esteemed profession. 

As for my fellow alumni, I urge you to stay connected and engaged with our alma mater. Whether it's through alumni association membership, mentorship, continuing education, or simply sharing your experiences with the next generation, there are countless ways to give back and ensure that the legacy of excellence continues for generations to come. 

In clowing, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as your alumni association president, and I look forward to working together to continue making our alma mater proud.
