Smile Fund

Members of Delta Sigma Delta Chi Chi launched Project Smile as a philanthropic effort to bring oral healthcare to as many patients as possible. In 2021, the fund was renamed following two $25,000 gifts from married associate professors Lora Graves, DDS, and Bryan Dye, DDS and Sanjay Chaudry, MD.

The Delta Sigma Delta Drs. Graves/Dye/Chaudhry Smile Fund exists to assist qualifying, low-income patients with treatment costs. Many of our patients require treatment plans with a number of phases.

While the student clinic offers reduced fees, there are patients who struggle to cover cost.  The financial burden can lead patients to end their treatment early. The fund is supported through a number of annual fundraisers. The goal is to provide the most comprehensive oral healthcare to patients through complete transitions.
