Special Smiles

Both dental and dental hygiene students volunteer for an annual event for West Virginia Special Olympics. Through Special Smiles, the Special Olympics summer games, special needs children compete in a number of sporting events. Our students work with those athletes between games to promote positive oral health practices and provide screenings.
